DYNAMICS AND FORECAST OF MORBIDITY AND MORTALITY FROM PROSTATE CANCER IN ST. PETERSBURG
Abstract
Th e paper presents the characteristics of primary disease incidence, prevalence and mortality from prostate cancer among men’s population of St. Petersburg (normal and age-standartized rates). An analysis of these indexes throughout 20 years is given. Th e level of the incidence increased 4,4-fold; prevalence — 4,5-fold; mortality — 2,1-fold. Age-standardized rates were increased too. Th e trends of these indicators up to 2020 are shown. Refs 11. Figs 10.
